Off Script
Clinical consultation for practitioners rewriting the rules.
You’re doing the work:
You’re holding grief, trauma, risk assessments, treatment plans, documentation, ethical dilemmas, impossible systems, and the weight of caring for people in a profession that often forgets to care for its clinicians.
But where do you take the parts of your practice that no one taught you how to hold?
The moments when your identities show up in the room. The cases that won’t leave you after session. The tension between what your ethics tell you and what your workplace expects.
The uncertainty. The vulnerability. The questions that don’t have clean answers.
If you’ve ever found yourself thinking… “I can’t really bring this to supervision.” …this space was created for you.
What is Off Script?
Off Script is a small-group 90-minute consultation space for therapists who want to think more deeply about their practice. Not just your clients, your practice. We’ll explore the places where clinical work intersects with identity, power, systems, community, grief, and humanity: Bring a case. Bring a dilemma. Bring an ethical discomfort. Bring the countertransference you can’t quite name. Bring the fear you’re carrying. Bring the tension between what you’ve been taught and how you actually want to practice. Bring the questions that don’t fit neatly inside evidence-based protocols. This isn’t about having the “right” answers. It’s about making room for better questions.
Together we’ll…
Untangle what feels stuck. Interrupt inherited assumptions. Unlearn practices that no longer serve you or your communities. Repair disconnection between your values and your work. Explore liberatory possibilities. Practice thinking differently. Stay curious in the mess instead of rushing toward certainty. Because becoming a thoughtful clinician isn’t about knowing more. It’s about seeing more.
Why me?
I’ve spent more than 15 years working across nearly every corner of the mental health system. I’ve been an intern, skills trainer, case manager, therapist, clinical supervisor, consultant, and educator.
I’ve worked in community mental health, outpatient settings, crisis services, residential care, and private practice.
I’ve seen clinicians asked to carry impossible workloads with inadequate support. I’ve experienced burnout. I’ve watched clients fall through systemic cracks while clinicians were expected to somehow hold everything together.
I’ve also experienced what meaningful supervision can make possible. The few supervisors who truly made space for complexity changed how I practiced.
They showed me supervision could be more than compliance, liability, or checking boxes. It could be a place where clinicians are supported as whole people.
Off Script is the consultation space I wish had existed throughout my career. One that honors both the people we serve and the people doing the serving.
What we'll explore
Some sessions may include conversations about:
identity, positionality, and power dynamics
countertransference
community care and dual relationships
documentation and institutional expectations
colonial values embedded in clinical practice
shame, perfectionism, over-responsibility, and burnout
ethical dilemmas without obvious answers
grief, uncertainty, and vulnerability
No two groups will be exactly alike because the conversation will emerge from what participants bring.
Is Off Script for me?
Off Script might be a good fit if you…
want your clinical work to reflect your values, not just your training.
are curious about the ways identity, power, culture, and systems shape the therapeutic relationship.
are willing to question long-held assumptions—even the ones you were taught in graduate school or supervision.
want a space where uncertainty is welcomed rather than treated as incompetence.
believe becoming a better clinician involves not only learning new skills, but also unlearning habits, examining your own patterns, and staying accountable to the communities you serve.
appreciate thoughtful conversation more than quick answers.
Off Script may not be the right fit if you…
are looking for someone to tell you the “right” intervention or give definitive answers to every clinical question.
want consultation focused primarily on diagnosis, treatment planning, or passing licensure requirements.
are not interested in examining how systems, culture, power, or your own lived experiences influence your work.
prefer consultation that reinforces existing clinical norms rather than inviting reflection, curiosity, and experimentation.
are looking for a lecture. This is a collaborative space, and everyone’s willingness to engage thoughtfully contributes to the experience.
What to expect
Each consultation includes:
5-10 minutes — Opening reflection or collective prompt

5-10 minutes — Integration and closing reflections
We’ll protect our energy:
This isn’t a space where everyone rushes through a case presentation. It’s a space for thoughtful reflection, collaborative inquiry, and meaningful discussion. Groups are intentionally designed to hold six participants.

FAQ
Do I need to attend both sessions?
Yes. Off Script is designed as a two-session experience. The conversations build on one another, and your registration includes both sessions.
Can I bring a clinical case?
Absolutely. You can bring a case, but you don’t have to. You’re also welcome to bring an ethical dilemma, a challenging dynamic, countertransference, a question about your practice, a tension you’re navigating, or something that’s been sitting with you between sessions.
Is this licensure supervision?
No. Off Script is consultation, not licensure supervision. I won’t be signing supervision hours or assuming clinical responsibility for your clients.
What if I don’t get a spotlight?
Each session includes three practice spotlights, and each participant will have the opportunity to bring something to the group across the two-session series. Even when you’re not in the hot seat, you’ll be invited into the conversation, and many participants find that someone else’s dilemma resonates deeply with their own work.
What if I miss a meeting?
Please check and clear your calendar before enrolling. This is a two-session experience so missed meetings cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
Will the sessions be recorded?
No.
Who is this for?
Off Script is designed for mental health practitioners who want space to think more intentionally about their practice. Whether you’re early in your career or have been practicing for decades, what matters most is your willingness to stay curious, reflective, and engaged.
